Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing exceptional service throughout their dining experience. You will assist with food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and safe environment while promoting menu items through effective upselling techniques.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Prepare food items in accordance with food safety standards and restaurant guidelines. Serve food and beverages, ensuring timely delivery to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations. Assist in the training of new staff members as required. Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills. Promote daily specials and upsell menu items to increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential; a passion for hospitality is key. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain high hygiene standards. Experience in food preparation or kitchen roles would be advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic culinary skills are beneficial for assisting with food preparation tasks. Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests alike. Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
