Job Overview

We are looking to recruit a front of house team member to join us here at The Old Wharf inn. A newly refurbished independent pub located by the canal, 7day operating business offering a wide selection of premium lagers, real ale, wine and spirits. The business is very passionate about providing high - quality product as well as service.

The ideal candidate will have both waiting & bar experience in a similar environment. We are looking for someone who can bring bags of enthusiasm to the job. With a friendly face and a desire to learn you would be a great asset to our team.

Summary of Role

To ensure that the bar is kept supervised at all times and that customer service is maintained at the highest standard. To consistently understand the business and manage the procedures & policies. To be an attentive server/server ensuring the guests are served to the best of your ability.

Customer Service

To lead by example with exceptional customer service To understand the customer's needs Understand and be knowledgeable of all the products we sell. Show detailed knowledge on our menus, understand how to up sell products to the customer.

Duties

Ensure the all bar systems and procedures are carried out and recorded Waiting Tables To be a good team player who supports other members of the team and carries out instruction efficiently Effectively report information to your line manager
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 35 per week
