Responsibilities

Greet and seat customers promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary. Prepare food items according to safety and hygiene standards, ensuring quality presentation. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high service standards. Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and dining spaces. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and timely service delivery. Adhere to food safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Skills

Previous restaurant experience is essential, with a strong understanding of front of house operations from similar, quality, setting. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous. Familiarity with food safety standards to ensure compliance in all aspects of service. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively. Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks during busy periods. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A proactive approach to upselling menu items, enhancing guest satisfaction while driving sales. Pay: 12.21-12.99 per hour
