We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Duty Manager to oversee all aspects of our dining operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in hospitality, and a passion for culinary excellence.
Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards.
Supervise kitchen staff and front-of-house team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Develop and implement menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, customer service, and operational procedures.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with other departments to plan events, promotions, and special occasions that enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Excellent team management abilities with a focus on training and developing staff.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential.
Experience in bartending is advantageous, along with an understanding of beverage management.
Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with guests, staff, and suppliers.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
