Food & Beverage Manager/Supervisor - Board Game Cafe

Who we are:

We're a board game cafe where tabletop gaming meets good food, great coffee, and an even better community. Whether it's slinging lattes during a Magic: The Gathering night or prepping waffles for a D&D group, we're all about creating a fun, relaxed and welcoming space.

The role:

We're levelling up our cafe team and looking for another hands-on Food & Beverage Supervisor to help run our busy board-game cafe!

This is a practical, people-focused role where you'll spend most of your time on the floor -- keeping service running smoothly, preparing food and drinks, and making sure every customer feels welcome. You'll also help shape our menu as we continue to grow and expand the offering.

Key responsibilities:

Lead food and drink service during opening hours Prepare simple hot food, snacks, and drinks (coffee, soft drinks, etc.) Maintain hygiene and safety standards (you know the drill) Manage stock levels and ordering with efficiency Work with the team to develop and grow the menu Bring ideas, energy and a bit of geeky flair to the table

What we're looking for:

Hospitality experience (especially in cafe or food service roles) A proactive, hands-on attitude - you're not afraid to get stuck in A love of food and drink - and maybe games too! Level 2 Food Hygiene preferred (or willingness to get it) Someone reliable, organised and up for a challenge Personal license would be desirable
