We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and team management within a restaurant, hotel, or similar environment. This role requires leadership, organisational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety, ensuring efficient food production, and fostering a positive team atmosphere to enhance guest satisfaction.
Duties
Manage and supervise all food and beverage operations, including kitchen and service staff
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production
Supervise serving staff to deliver excellent customer service
Implement and uphold food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Organise staff schedules, training sessions, and performance evaluations
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs effectively
Develop menus in collaboration with management team to reflect current trends and guest preferences
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of all food service areas
Lead by example in hospitality excellence, fostering a team-oriented environment
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel or catering environment
Extensive culinary experience including food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to motivate staff
Previous experience in food production and kitchen operations
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
Experience in managing barista services or bar operations is desirable
Strong leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
Background in serving or hospitality roles that emphasise guest satisfaction is required
Holding a Personal Licence is preferable
