Job Description




We are looking for an

F&B Operations Manager

to support the Hotel Operations Manager in delivering a high-quality guest focused experience that has a personal and authentic feel. If you are passionate about food and beverages and enjoy delivering amazing hospitality, this could be a role for you. It also involves coaching and mentoring a team to success in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. You will need to be well organised and have a strong commercial awareness alongside operational hands-on experience to truly shine.


This role operates 5 out 7 days and includes regular evenings and weekends




Priorities of the role




This is a senior role within the hotel and reports directly to the Hotel Operations Manager, deputising for them in their absence You will have fully accountability for the F&B department and will need to balance the hands-on nature with team coaching and KPI delivery to be successful We expect you to embrace being an ambassador for the business and to be a 'principles led' leader to be able to support your team to deliver the genuine bespoke service we thrive. You will need creative flair and drive to give the current business a competitive edge and to be able to fulfil your key role in the F&B development and transformation. To meet the needs of this demanding role you will need to be prepared to grow and embrace change in order to continue to develop both yourself and your team.

About the Hotel




Situated in the picture perfect, historic fishing village of Robin Hoods Bay,

The Hotel Victoria boasts some of the best coastal views in North Yorkshire. The 30-bedroom property, which has recently undergone extensive refurbishment, is ideally located to either explore the great outdoors with coastal and moorland locations on your doorstep, or just cosy up and recharge your batteries in the unique surroundings.


The Hotel offers several wonderful areas to dine, welcoming both residents and non-residents for breakfast, brunch and lunch through to a delightful afternoon tea or a sophisticated evening meal. Our garden, terrace and patio areas offer some incredible outdoor dining and relaxing spaces to soak up the glorious views on the North Yorkshire Coast.


Experience, skills, qualifications, and behaviours




Essential


2 years' experience as a Restaurant or F&B Manager Demonstrable F&B success Demonstrable experience of budget & KPI delivery Strong communication skills Fluent written and verbal English Employer loyalty PC literate

Desirable


5 years' experience as a Restaurant or F&B Manager Experience of independent hotels Experience of 4 & 5 star properties Multi outlet experience Proactive and innovate thinker Recognised industry qualifications

Renumeration




Basic salary: 38,000 - 42,000


Bonus potential: Up to 10% on KPI delivery
