The Role
As a Food Beverage Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our FB outlets; maintaining high standards of quality, and maximising guest satisfaction
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of our FB outlets.
Provide leadership and guidance to the FB team, ensuring they are motivated, trained, and equipped to deliver outstanding service.
Oversee the setup and preparation of dining areas, ensuring they are clean, organised, and properly stocked with supplies.
Monitor service standards to ensure efficient and attentive service delivery, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Assist in the development and implementation of menus, promotions, and special events to drive revenue and enhance the guest experience.
Maintain inventory levels and control costs by minimising waste and implementing effective stock rotation procedures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and licensing laws at all times.
Handle guest enquiries, complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Kitchen, Housekeeping, Membership and Front Office, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards in all FB areas.
Ensure team members are working flexibly to meet business requirements, across all FB areas, moving between outlets to cover business peaks or breaks.
Assist in the recruitment, training, and performance management of food and beverage staff, conducting regular evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
Terms and Conditions:
Fixed term up to seven months maternity cover
Full time 40 hours per week
What we're looking for:
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications, attitude, behaviours, skills, and values:
Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a Hotel or Members' Club setting.
Proven leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Strong knowledge of FB operations, including service skills and cost control.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
