Job Title: Food Production Manager

Location: NG10 2DL

Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 OTE: On - Target - Earnings with performance-based bonuse

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

At I'm So Good, we are a growing central production unit based in the East Midlands, specialising in nutritious, pre-cooked, macro-controlled meals. Our products are crafted with input from certified nutritionists, dieticians, and food scientists, and we proudly supply major clients including the NHS, Compass Group, Nottingham Forest FC, and Silverstone.

We're looking for a driven and experienced Food Production Manager to join our team and play a key role in scaling our operations and maintaining the highest standards in food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the food production facility

Ensure products are manufactured to specification, on time, and in full

Lead, coach and develop the production team to meet performance targets

Maintain compliance with food safety standards including BRC or SALSA

Implement and monitor HACCP procedures and quality control systems

Collaborate with nutritionists and development chefs to scale new meal lines

Manage stock levels, production scheduling, and efficiency improvements

Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and ensure full traceability of products

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years' experience in a food manufacturing or production environment

Strong knowledge of BRC or SALSA accreditation standards (must have experience with at least one)

Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate (essential)

Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment

Excellent understanding of HACCP, allergen management, and food legislation

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

Good communication and IT skills
