About the Role



We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused

Food Production Process Supervisor

to support the day-to-day management of production operations. The role is key to ensuring production plans are delivered efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with food safety and quality standards.

You will be responsible for monitoring production line performance, controlling critical food safety processes, and driving continuous improvement across efficiency, yield, and waste reduction.

Key Responsibilities



Review and implement daily production plans to ensure customer, quality, and volume requirements are met. Monitor line performance against efficiency, yield, waste, and downtime targets, taking timely action where performance deviates. Make real-time process adjustments to maintain optimal production flow and product quality. Control, verify, and accurately document

Critical Control Points (CCPs)

in line with HACCP plans and site procedures. Escalate, investigate, and implement corrective actions for any CCP or process deviations, ensuring full traceability and compliance. Analyse production data including efficiency, downtime, yield, and waste to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving manufacturing performance, consistency, and cost control. Ensure full compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards at all times (e.g. HACCP, BRCGS, internal site standards). Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Planning teams to maintain smooth and compliant operations. Promote a strong food safety and quality culture on the production floor.

Skills & Experience



Experience in a supervisory or process-focused role within food manufacturing. Strong understanding of HACCP principles and Critical Control Point management. Proven ability to monitor and improve production efficiency, yield, and waste. Confidence in analysing production data and using it to drive improvements. Good knowledge of food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Strong communication skills with the ability to escalate issues clearly and effectively. A methodical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
