We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires an individual who is passionate about guest services and has a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both kitchen staff and diners.

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Ensure that all orders are complete and presented beautifully before serving to guests. Assist in food preparation when necessary, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any issues that may arise. Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests. Provide excellent guest services by being attentive to diners' needs and responding promptly to requests. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations within the restaurant or hotel setting.

Skills

Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with guests and team members. Experience in guest services within a hospitality, restaurant, or hotel environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude with a willingness to help others, contributing to a supportive team atmosphere.
