Food Safety Auditors are primarily responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
Evaluate and examine the food safety systems, practices, and operations of a facility
Identify potential food safety hazards and areas of non-compliance
Conduct regular audits and reviews of the facility to ensure ongoing compliance
Prepare and present detailed audit reports outlining the findings and recommendations
Work with the management team to develop and implement corrective action plans
Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and verify their effectiveness
Stay updated with the latest food safety standards and regulations
Conduct training and workshops for food production staff on food safety standards and practices
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal food safety laws and regulations

We are looking for a meticulous Food Safety Auditor to ensure that our food products meet all necessary public health regulations and standards.
The Food Safety Auditor will conduct regular audits of our manufacturing processes, review and assess risks and ensure that all safety procedures are being adhered to.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of food safety regulations, be analytical, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities
Conduct regular audits of food safety procedures and practices
Identify and assess potential risks in the production process
Ensure all food safety procedures are followed as per standards and regulations
Report and document audit findings
Recommend improvements to enhance food safety measures
Stay updated on food safety regulations and industry trends
Provide training and guidance to staff on food safety practices
Maintain communication with management on food safety issues
Prepare and present audit reports and recommendations
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Food Safety Auditor or similar role
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g. HACCP, ISO 22000 etc.)
Excellent observational and analytical skills
Strong communication skills
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
Certification in food safety auditing is a plus
BSc degree in Food Science, Microbiology or relevant field
