Job Description
Browns Food Group Trading as FENTON BARNS are seeking a responsible individual for the role of Food Technologist.
Here at Fenton Barns, we are dedicated to the production, innovation, and development of a variety of protein products for manufacturing, retail, foodservice and wholesale industries.
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the overall purpose of the role is to assist the Group Technical team to ensure product is produced safely, legally and complies with customer requirements.
Key responsibilities
Internal audits and GMP audits
Updating and maintaining supplier approval information
Investigation of customer complaints
Support with external audits
Review traceability exercises
Review lab testing results and recording
Assist with maintenance of site QMS, HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role
Well organised, analytical and logical mindset
Good computer skills - Excel
Good communication skills
Driving licence - multi site travel will be required
Salary
27 460
Hours
Monday - Friday. Hours to be discussed at interview.
