Kelly's Supermarkets is a family-run business that was first established by Harry and Denise Kelly in 1975 as a small corner shop. Growing up working in their parents' corner shop, brothers Pearce and Shaun soon found their interest and passion for retail. Over the years, the brothers have developed and expanded the business and their portfolio.

A LOOK INTO THE ROLL



Our deli and hot food counter is a convenient place for our customers to stop for breakfast, lunch or great coffee on the go, in prime location.
We're looking for a special candidate who will lead our hard-working and friendly team, making it all happen - from preparing delicious food, first class customer service at the deli counter, or maintaining great hygiene standards by keeping the prep and service areas clean. You'll be supported by a team of brilliant people, and there are fantastic career development and progression opportunities.

As

Deli Manager

you will:

Listen to and understand our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services. Provide a first class service to all of our customers. Allocate work duties to other members of the team to ensure all duties are covered and to maintain a high quality service at all times. Exercise and enforce constant watch over Health & Safety, Security, Discipline and Due Diligence. Carry out food safety control checks in all areas to ensure all standards are being maintained and recorded. Ensure stock is displayed in the correct position to attract sales, the correct price is displayed and waste recording procedure is being followed. Prepare and cook all food in line with company procedure and Health and Safety regulations. Ensure a high standard of cleanliness in the Department (front and back) is maintained at all times. Be accountable for the enforcement of all legislative demands/standards of fire, health, hygiene and safety and these conditions are strictly adhered to. Undertake other duties as required for the role.

Skills for Success



A passion for food...with a proven track record for delivering a fantastic customer experience in a similar role. ?You'll have at least 1 years' experience in a serviced food role, and you'll see your role as a profession, helping us to develop our counter to be a key destination for food on the go. You'll have at least 6 months' experience in leading a team. A positive attitude and a love for people...you'll inspire and motivate your team to be the best. Creative flair and an eye for detail, ensuring that excellent presentation and standards are maintained. Knowledge of Food Safety practices and procedures- you'll have minimum Level 2 qualification in Food Safety. Commercial Awareness, and ability to deliver on Key Performance Indicators such as sales, costs and profitability.
