Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food Truck Staff to join our vibrant team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our food truck team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and service.

Duties

Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and taste. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the food preparation area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in serving customers with a friendly attitude, providing information about menu items and upselling where appropriate. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the food truck during events or busy shifts. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. Strong culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Excellent time management abilities to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
