We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Grilled Cheese Enthusiast at various festivals around the uk. As a member of the What A Melt family, you will play a crucial role in delivering a memorable and delicious experience to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Sandwich Crafting:

Master the art of creating perfect grilled cheese sandwiches according to our recipes and quality standards. Attention to detail and consistency is key.

Customer Interaction:

Engage with customers in a friendly and positive manner, providing excellent customer service.

Maintain Cleanliness:

Keep the work area clean and organized. Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a hygienic food preparation environment.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely other team members to maintain a collaborative and positive work environment. Support your colleagues to ensure smooth operations during busy festival periods.

Adaptability:

Be ready to adapt to the fast-paced nature of festival events. Demonstrate flexibility and a proactive approach in handling challenges that may arise.

Driving Requirement:

A valid driver's license and a car is necessary. You will be responsible for commuting to Richmond to be picked up, and then drive together with the team to the festivals on all instances where you won't drive.

Requirements:

DRIVERS LICENSE AND CAR Must be over 21 as some of our festivals are 21 and over Passion for food. Must be comfortable sleeping in a tent. Comfortable engaging with customers if you're an extrovert this is the perfect role for you. Previous experience in a food service role is a plus, but not mandatory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team and take direction. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. A positive attitude and a commitment to providing an outstanding customer experience.

Seasonal Commitment:

Our operating season runs from April until October.

Trading Days:

Typically, our trading days are from Thursday till Sunday. Flexibility with scheduling during peak festival periods is essential.

Pay:

The compensation for this position is 12.00 per hour.

Camping Events:

Please note that the majority of festivals we attend are camping events. As part of our team, you should be comfortable with the camping environment and be prepared for potential overnight stays during these events.
