Join one of London's biggest grassroots football clubs!

Dulwich Village FC is actively seeking coaches and managers to join us for the 2025/26 season. We have teams ranging from U7s through to a men's first team, including 12 girls' teams launching next season.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Football Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in coaching and a commitment to educating and developing players of all skill levels. This role is essential in fostering teamwork, discipline, and a love for the game while ensuring that players are prepared for both competitive matches and personal growth.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement training programmes that enhance players' skills and understanding of football. Conduct regular practice sessions, focusing on fun, technique, tactics, and physical conditioning. Educate players on the rules of the game, sportsmanship, and the importance of teamwork. Analyse player performance during matches and provide constructive feedback for improvement. Organise team meetings to discuss strategies, goals, and player development. Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages participation from all players. Maintain communication with parents regarding player progress and team activities.

Qualifications



Experience in sports coaching, preferably in football at various levels. Strong knowledge of football techniques, strategies, and rules of play. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate players effectively. Ability to work well within a team environment and build rapport with players, parents, and staff. Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential. A passion for football, and a commitment to fostering a positive sporting experience for all participants. DBS, First Aid and Safeguarding certified desired, but we can support you with this Completion of some free FA online learning such as the playmaker
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.5 - 3.5 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:

Dulwich SE21: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:

Football coaching: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

DBS (preferred) First Aid Certification (preferred) Safeguarding Certification (preferred)
Work Location: In person
