About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and reliable Football Coach to join our growing team. The successful candidate will deliver high-energy, engaging, and inclusive football sessions to children aged 5-11 years in primary schools across [insert region]. The role is focused on developing physical literacy, teamwork, and a lifelong love for sport through fun and interactive coaching sessions suitable for all abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver age-appropriate football coaching sessions for after-school clubs, Mini soccer sessions and Player Development Centres.
Create a fun, safe, and supportive learning environment where all children can participate regardless of skill level or experience.
Encourage teamwork, confidence, and physical development through positive reinforcement.
Work collaboratively with school staff and follow safeguarding and health and safety policies at all times.
Monitor and record pupil progress and engagement where required.
Represent the organisation with professionalism and uphold its values of inclusion, respect, and enthusiasm.
Requirements:
FA Level 1 in Coaching Football / Introduction to coaching Football (minimum) or equivalent coaching qualification.
Experience working with children aged 5-11, ideally in a school or club setting.
Up-to-date Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Valid First Aid and Safeguarding Children certificates (or willingness to complete training).
Strong communication skills and a positive, energetic attitude.
Ability to travel between schools (driving licence and access to a vehicle desirable).
Desirable:
FA Level 2 or UEFA C Licence.
Experience delivering PE curriculum-based lessons.
Additional coaching qualifications (e.g. multi-sports, SEND-specific training).
