We are looking for a qualified (minimum FA Level 2 / UEFA C License) football coach to support the growth and development of our football section.
Management Supervision and Guidance
You will be responsible to Chris Boyce for your daily tasks and duties, and the Business and Education Manager in any other matters.
Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will be working on a part-time basis for a minimum of 10 hours per week. The coach will lead Hunslet Club development sessions and lead on the football club section.
The main responsibilities of the coach mentor are:
To grow the football section
To support the development of the female section
To support the development of grassroots coaches and leave a lasting legacy for Hunslet JFC
To work with a variety of different teams to identify the needs of the coaches
To mentor and support coaches
To develop and deliver a programme of support for coaches
To support coach and volunteer development across the club
To develop individual / bespoke events at the club
To cover coaching sessions when needed
To progress players from the development sessions into team sessions
To act as a key communicator between The Hunslet Club and the grassroots coaches of Hunslet JFC.
We require a coach mentor with the following attributes:
Experience of delivering football to children and young people
A minimum of FA Level 2 / UEFA C License qualifications
Capacity to plan their own sessions
Experience of working within a JPL environment
Experience of working with football league academies
Experience of inspiring children and young people and retaining participants throughout a programme
A current Enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) certificate and First Aid Certificate, or are willing to undertake these courses
