Who Are BB Soccer?

BB Soccer is a thriving football academy based in Purley, Croydon, delivering high-quality football coaching to children aged 4-18. We run a range of programmes from grassroots to elite levels, including after-school clubs, PPA cover, Saturday academy sessions, and holiday camps.

The Role: Football Coach

We're looking for passionate, motivated coaches to join our growing team and deliver high-quality football sessions across various age groups and ability levels. This is a full-time role with opportunities for progression into senior roles for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver structured football sessions for children aged 4-18 across weekly academy sessions, after-school clubs, and holiday camps. Follow BB Soccer's coaching syllabus while bringing your own style and creativity to each session. Plan and upload weekly session plans to a central coaching platform. Adapt sessions based on age, skill level, and group size. Communicate effectively with parents, players, and coaching colleagues. Ensure all sessions meet safeguarding and health & safety standards. Assist in organising and leading BB Soccer holiday camps during school breaks. Promote sportsmanship, respect, and player development in every session.

Term-Time Working Hours (Approx. 10-20 hours/week)

Monday-Thursday: 15:00pm - 16:30pm
Friday: 15:00pm -16:30pm
Saturday: 8:00am - 14:00pm

Hours increase during school holidays (40 hours/week). Overtime pay available.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Experience coaching children aged 4-18. Strong organisational and time management skills. A passion for football and a desire to help children grow.

Desirable:

Experience coaching children aged 4-18. FA Level 1 / Introduction to Coaching Football. Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain). Valid First Aid and Safeguarding Children certificates (or willingness to obtain). Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Experience working in an academy, grassroots or school environment. Strong organisational and time management skills.
