Job Summary


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to deliver training sessions at our Development Programs in Sandy and Gamlingay on Mondays and Fridays. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of football strategies and techniques, with the ability to educate players on both the fundamentals of the game and advanced skills. This role requires a commitment to fostering a positive team environment while promoting sportsmanship and personal growth among players.

Duties



Develop and implement training programmes that enhance players' skills, fitness, and teamwork. Conduct regular practice sessions, focusing on both individual player development and team strategies. Educate players on game rules, tactics, and sportsmanship to ensure a comprehensive understanding of football. Analyse training performance and provide constructive feedback to players for improvement. Organise team meetings to discuss strategies, goals, and player progress. Foster a supportive and inclusive team culture that encourages participation and personal development. Collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure cohesive training approaches and team objectives.

Experience



Previous experience in sports coaching, particularly in football, is highly desirable. A strong background in playing football at a competitive level is advantageous. Proven ability to educate players of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced athletes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes. Strong organisational skills to manage training schedules, team logistics, and player development plans.

Must have



UEFA C license preferably or FA Level 1 working towards UEFA C license Up to date Enhanced DBS Check Up to date Safeguarding and 1st aid Certificates Drivers license

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.00 per hour
