Balvac

team.



For over 90 years, Balvac has delivered innovative structural repair, strengthening, protection, and maintenance solutions to sustainably extend the life of the UK's infrastructure. Our clients include

National Highways

and major local authorities across the UK. While our core focus is

What you'll be doing



As a

Foreman

, you will be responsible for:


Day-to-day control, planning, organisation, and supervision of internal resources and subcontractors. Ensuring works are constructed in line with contract drawings, specifications, and the Project Management Plan. Briefing out construction method statements to ensure efficient and safe delivery. Promoting and applying Health, Safety & Environmental procedures and fostering a strong safety culture. Supporting and driving behavioural safety on site. Monitoring progress, reporting updates, and driving achievement of project goals. Proactively identifying and resolving issues on site. Maintaining site housekeeping and managing waste segregation.


Who we're looking for



We're seeking someone with:


Experience in delivering

structural repair/specialist repair projects

. Experience working on

infrastructure schemes

. Ability to

manage individuals and teams

efficiently. Ability to

manage individual scheme costs

. Strong understanding and management of

Health and Safety

, including

Behavioural Safety

. Ability to

lead, communicate and influence

others to deliver targets.

Specialist capabilities include: Concrete repair, including wet and dry spray concrete, Crack injection, Leak sealing injection, Structural strengthening including the use of FRP composite materials, Corrosion Protection and Cathodic Protection, Post tensioning to bridges, tanks and nuclear reactor vessels, Concrete carriageway rehabilitation using vacuum assisted void grouting and slab realignment techniques.
