We have a unique opportunity for a
Forest School Leader
, to join an established, family feel Nursery within a beautiful
farm environment
to work alongside our current Forest School Leader
.
Our vision is to learn through real life experiences and the outdoors so we welcome practitioners with a love of teaching our children about the environment and nature. You must hold a Level 3 Forest School Qualification.
We mainly do sessions daily with small groups of around 8-12 children on our farm, making wizard wands, exploring the wanders of nature and creating natural activities with our children in all weathers.
As a Forest school Leader, your main duties will be to:
Sustain an enjoyable, educational environment
Plan and carry out
forest school activities including tool work and hot chocolate making,
whilst following risk assessments and ensuring safety
Lead a small team of staff
and children on outdoor activities
Complete outdoor first aid training
Risk assess new areas and activities
Maintain and grow relevant required resources including tools etc
Develop professional and strong relationships with staff and parents
Work in accordance with the EYFS framework
Ensure health and safety is upheld at all times
Safeguard the wellbeing of children in your care

To be considered for this position, you must be level 3 qualified, have previous nursery experience and have a genuine interest in providing high quality child care.
The hours are 32.5 hours per week, 9am-4pm Monday to Friday (part time positions would be considered)
