Forest School / Outdoor Learning Educator - Pre-School Room ("The Forest")
We are looking for a passionate and nurturing
Forest School / Outdoor Learning Educator
to join our pre-school team, lovingly known as The Forest Folk. This is a predominantly outdoor role, so a love for nature, enthusiasm for Forest School principles, and a commitment to outdoor learning are essential.
You'll be working with young children in a supportive, play-based outdoor environment that values curiosity, resilience, and connection with the natural world.

What We're Looking For:
A Level 3 childcare qualification and are someone who thrives in the fresh air, enjoys muddy adventures, and can inspire learning through outdoor experiences - we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
To work as an educator within our Pre School outdoor garden classroom with children ages 3-5.
To contribute to the development of the nursery setting.
To act as a key person to a group of children, building secure relationships with children and families.
To be responsible and committed to protecting all children within your care, at all times.
To maintain exceptional practice on a day-to-day basis, with a determination to always ensure high-quality teaching and education.
To keep up to date with all legislation and changes to national policy.
To support the nursery management team in creating an engaging and stimulating outdoor learning environment for the children to explore and learn, providing adult led activities and provocations around their interests and using 'Planning in the moment' opportunities throughout the day.
To deliver The WonderWorks Approach and curriculum.
To complete required training, as set out in the induction programme or as set by the nursery management team.
To be a flexible member of staff within the nursery day.
To ensure statutory guidance and regulations are always followed.
To uphold The WonderWorks Values of Community, Courage, and Care.

Please note we are open from 7am-7pm Monday- Friday, 50 weeks of the year.
We are currently recruiting for a number of full time educators across all 0-5 age groups, due to a nursery expansion. Full time roles are 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days per week.
