The successful applicants will join a small and friendly team of committed individuals operating high volume box manufacturing machines. We have been based in Shropshire for over 35 years

Role & Responsibilities

As a Forklift Driver you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely loading and unloading of lorries as well as moving stock on pallets within our warehouse to achieve and constantly improve set targets.

Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.

Key Skills & Experience

Forklift driving experience essential
Able to work on own initiative
Excellent communication skills and fluent English
Ability to work without supervision
. Experience of working on uneven ground

. Able to work with a high level of care and accuracy

The work involves an amount of manual handling and so a good degree of dexterity and physical fitness is demanded.

The complexity of the work will also demand a good standard of basic education.

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 2pm (40 hour week)

Rural location in Baschurch, therefore own transport essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.97 per hour
