The successful applicants will join a small and friendly team of committed individuals operating high volume box manufacturing machines. We have been based in Shropshire for over 35 years. Due to expansion, we are seeking an experienced FLT driver for holiday/sickness cover of goods in, goods out and everything in between. 1 day a week, you will be based at our warehouse which is 3 miles up the road from our factory. When not covering for a FLT driver, you will be required to assist within the factory as a Production Operative.
Role & Responsibilities
As a Forklift Driver you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely loading and unloading of machines and/or lorries to achieve and constantly improve set targets.
You will be required to assist in our production area when not covering on the FLT.
Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
Key Skills & Experience
Forklift driving experience essential
Able to work on own initiative
Excellent communication skills and fluent English

The work involves an amount of manual handling and so a good degree of dexterity and physical fitness is demanded.
The complexity of the work will also demand a good standard of basic education.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 2pm (40 hour week)
Rural location in Ruyton XI Towns, therefore own transport essential.
