Job Summary

We are seeking two skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team Ideally will have Experience with Counterbalance and Reach Trucks The successful candidate will be responsible for safely handling materials, operating forklifts, and ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes. This role requires a proactive individual with strong mechanical knowledge and experience in warehouse management systems. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, accuracy, and efficiency are paramount.

Shift 1

Working Hours will be 6am - 12pm

Shift 2

Working Hours will be 11am - 7pm

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse Manage materials handling tasks with precision and care to prevent damage Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control Perform basic equipment repairs and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking inventory movements and updating records Support warehouse organisation by stacking, sorting, and storing goods appropriately Conduct safety inspections on equipment before use and report any issues promptly Assist in maintaining a clean and organised work environment to promote safety standards

Experience

Proven experience operating forklift trucks in a warehouse setting Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable Knowledge of equipment repair and basic mechanical skills beneficial Experience in materials handling, shipping, and receiving operations preferred Strong organisational skills with the ability to perform basic maths calculations accurately Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Previous warehouse experience that demonstrates reliability and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
