FLT DRIVERS ALSO NEEDED IN SOUTH LONDON

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating forklifts safely, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. Responsibilities

Operate forklift equipment to load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse Manage materials handling tasks with precision and care, ensuring correct placement and storage Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments Maintain accurate records using the warehouse management system (WMS) Perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting as needed to ensure operational efficiency Conduct routine inspections of forklift machinery to identify potential issues and report repairs Support inventory management by organising stock in designated areas Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during operations Assist with general warehouse duties such as organising storage areas and maintaining cleanliness

Qualifications

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting Experience in materials handling, load & unload operations, and shipping & receiving Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or moving within the warehouse Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Valid forklift licence or certification is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided for suitable candidates with relevant experience Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
