Role Summary:
To service the lines with raw material that would be collected from warehouse or produced on the hammer mill machine, taking away finished product from production lines, wrapping them, and using a stock control system to print finished product labels out and collecting different types of packaging from the warehouse for production lines.
Responsibilities:
Provide raw materials for the production lines i.e., collecting peanuts from warehouse and putting them onto the feeding hopper
Use of the hammer mill machine where you would put steel bins up that contain RMBLKWHEAT and it produces flour
Wrapping of finished goods on production lines
Using a stock control system where you would print labels for finished goods and put them onto pallets and take them to warehouse 2
Collecting different type of packaging i.e., boxes or film or labels and bring them to the production line you are working on
Time management - so managing when bins go up how long they will last and what can you do in-between and get back in time to top up
Work with team captains as to what they require i.e., pallets
Planning ahead - so getting products near by ready for next production run to be efficient
Contribute to the factory/production team on keeping good GMP
Problem solving on forklift movement and requirements for production
Supporting on the production line as required
Qualifications and abilities:
Valid counterbalance forklift certification - Essential
Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production environment
Strong knowledge of forklift safety protocols
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects
Skills:

Also please be aware the factory is in a remote location with no public transport links so reliable/own transport is essential. Factory location - DN41 8NB
Working days/hours - Mon-Thurs, 2.30pm-1.30am
