Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating forklifts safely, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. Responsibilities

Operate forklift equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse utilise Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory movements accurately Assist with shipping and receiving duties, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on forklift equipment as needed Handle materials carefully, ensuring proper stacking and storage to optimise space utilisation Support warehouse organisation by maintaining clean and safe work areas Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments

Requirements

Valid forklift licence with proven experience in operating various types of forklift trucks Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge to perform minor equipment repairs and troubleshooting Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is advantageous Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently Basic mathematical skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities Strong understanding of materials handling procedures and safety protocols Experience in shipping & receiving operations is preferred Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 33 - 40 per week
