Role: Forklift Operator / Storeman (Yate-Based)

Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts to load and unload materials and equipment Receive, sort, and store incoming tools and building materials in the warehouse and yard Keep the warehouse and yard clean, tidy, and well-organised Manage and segregate skips and waste in accordance with recycling guidelines Deliver tools and materials to local sites when required Carry out regular checks and basic upkeep of tools and small plant Monitor stock levels and notify when materials need to be ordered Adhere to all health & safety procedures in warehouse operations

Requirements:

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (Essential) Previous experience in a warehouse, yard, or storeman role (2+ years preferred) Good organisational and time-management skills Full UK Driving Licence Positive attitude and willingness to assist with general site or yard tasks Physically fit and able to lift materials as needed Ability to work independently and take initiative
