Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for hard working Forklift Operator to join a large manufacturer of wet-cast concrete landscaping products in Avonmouth BS10
This is a permanent, full time position, pending a successful provisional period.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Role
Working in a manufacturing environment, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of operating a forklift truck to enable paving machinery to run efficiently.
Key Activities/Responsibilities.
Communicating information between production machines and Batching staff. Keeping Forklift, and other direct equipment clean. Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment.
The Candidate.
Must have good understanding of verbal & written communication. Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work effectively individually as part of a team. They must have a 'Can do' attitude. Counterbalance Forklift certificate is essential.
Hourly Rate
From 12.50 per hour, 39 hours per week, 'time and a half' paid thereafter.
Some weekend work will also be required.
Qualifications and Skills
Current counterbalance Forklift certificate is essential.
