Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse and store.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Load and unload materials from lorries and containers, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed. Conduct regular inspections and basic repairs on equipment to maintain operational efficiency. Manage materials handling processes, including shipping and receiving tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of warehouse tasks.

Experience

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment is essential. Familiarity with equipment repair and maintenance is advantageous. Strong understanding of materials handling practices and shipping/receiving procedures. Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and record keeping are required. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
Forklift license preferable but not essential as training can be provided
