A well-established print, storage & fulfilment business is looking to expand its warehouse team. Fulfilling the role of forklift operator, you will be confident operating a pivot-steer forklift in tight spaces, while also being willing to assist on the ground during quieter periods.

We are looking for an organised individual who is hard-working, reliable and loves to work as part of a team. You will work closely with the administration team to ensure organisation of the current workload. You will be required to have a good knowledge of computers and experience of driving a pivot-steer forklift to fulfil this position. We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and accuracy to ensure smooth logistical processes within our facility.

Duties

Picking and wrapping pallets Loading and unloading vehicles Processing deliveries through goods in and ensuring accurate records are taken Moving pallets in and out of the warehouse Utilising warehouse management system to track inventory and update stock records Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety standards Collaborate with team members to optimise warehouse workflows and improve operational efficiency

Qualifications

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting Experience with materials handling, loading, and unloading goods efficiently Ability to perform basic maths accurately for inventory counts and measurements Physical ability to lift heavy loads regularly and stand for extended periods Good organisational skills with attention to detail Valid forklift licence recognised in the UK is essential; additional certifications are advantageous
