Job Overview



We're looking for a proactive and driven FP&A Analyst to join our growing, fast-paced business as we undergo an exciting period of digital transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic finance team and gain valuable experience in a business that's evolving rapidly. The role offers a 6-month fixed term contract, with strong potential to convert to a permanent position.


Role Responsibilities:




Prepare monthly reporting schedules and assist with management reporting. Ensure correct accounting treatment of transactions within the P&L and balance sheet in line with relevant accounting standards. Collaborate with key business stakeholders to ensure understanding of financial drivers and support performance improvement initiatives. Assist with month-end close activities, including processing journals and handling ad hoc tasks. Support in the rolling forecast preparation. Work closely with wider finance teams to resolve queries and maintain strong internal and external relationships. Preparing accounting entries for revenue and cost of sales including analysis of key variances.

About You




Qualifications/Skills & Required Experience:




Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).

Prior experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role.

Experience working in a multi-site business is desirable but not essential.

Proficient in accounting systems (Sage200 experience is a plus) and strong Excel skills.

Strong analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail.

Self-motivated and able to work independently, using initiative to drive tasks forward.

Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving, evolving environment.

Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage across all levels and departments.
