BAM UK and Ireland is recruiting an FP&A Manager. This role can be based out of any of our UK office locations.


Your mission

  • Support key financial processes including monthly segment performance reporting and bottom-up forecasting. Ensure reporting and forecasting timelines and requirements are met.
  • Ownership of month end processes for central overhead cost centres.
  • Assist with the review and constructive challenge of overheads reporting and help with the continuous improvement of the quality of reporting and variance and trend analysis.
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly and quarterly segment management packs including commentary which clearly articulates the real drivers and trading outcomes.
  • Support External Audit and assist with the preparation of the Statutory Accounts.
  • Responsible for entry and validation of financial submissions in SAP BPC.
  • Support preparation of balance sheet and other reconciliations to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Support identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of financial systems and processes to support the drive for efficiency and standardisation in the FP&A function.
  • Provide insights to management around financial modelling, scenario planning and forecasts.
  • Provide support on ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required.



Who are we looking for?



  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) with 3+ years PQE.
  • Experience of basic Microsoft packages.
  • Highly motivated, committed individual with a track record of delivering good quality finance outputs.
  • Experience of working to tight timescales and consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with non-finance stakeholders and constructively challenge and influence performance.
  • Ability to step back and see the big picture and if needed, drill down into the details.
