Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our interior workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, joining, assembling, and installing various bed frames and interior related furniture. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for carpentry and joinery to contribute to high-quality construction work in a dynamic environment.

Key Duties

:

Read and follow technical drawings and cutting lists to complete bed frames and timber components accurately. Operate hand tools and woodworking machinery including staplers, drills, sanders, and saws. Assemble timber and chipboard components into complete bed frames. Accurately measure, mark, and cut timber to ensure correct alignment and fitting. Install hardware and fittings where required. Inspect completed frames for quality and precision before they leave the workshop. Ensure finished products are packed safely for delivery. Collaborate with colleagues to meet production deadlines. Maintain workshop tools and equipment and report any faults. Comply with health and safety regulations at all times. Assist with other workshop tasks as required. Maintain workshop tools and equipment, reporting faults or safety issues promptly. Uphold Health & Safety standards at all times. Contribute to a clean, organised, and efficient workshop environment. Occasional on-site work may be required, so flexibility is a plus.

Requirements / Skills

:

Previous bench joinery or carpentry experience preferred but not essential. Ability to work accurately and pay attention to detail. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Good timekeeping and attendance. Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is a plus.

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
