We are now looking for a

Freelance AI & Digital Skills Tutor

to deliver engaging, accessible, and relevant training in artificial intelligence and core digital skills.

The Role

As a Freelance AI & Digital Skills Tutor, you will deliver high-quality teaching to adult learners, supporting them to build confidence and practical competence in AI tools and digital technologies.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering sessions, supporting learner progress, and ensuring an inclusive, learner-centred approach aligned with programme requirements.

This role is ideal for a confident digital professional or tutor with strong practical AI knowledge and a passion for upskilling adults.

Key Responsibilities-

Teaching & Delivery

Deliver engaging AI and digital skills sessions (online and/or face-to-face) Teach practical use of AI tools (e.g. productivity, content creation, data handling) Support learners with varying levels of digital confidence Adapt delivery to meet individual learner needs

Learner Support

Monitor learner progress and engagement Provide constructive feedback and guidance Support learners to apply digital and AI skills in real-world contexts

Quality & Compliance

Maintain accurate session records and learner documentation Follow Functional Skills UK quality assurance and safeguarding policies Contribute to continuous improvement of learning materials

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong practical knowledge of

AI tools and digital technologies

Experience delivering training, tutoring, or workshops to adults Confident communicator with the ability to explain complex concepts simply Strong digital literacy and adaptability Reliable, organised, and professional approach to freelance work

Desirable

Teaching or training qualification (e.g. AET, PTLLS, Cert Ed) Experience delivering adult education or employability programmes Familiarity with online learning platforms (Zoom, Teams, LMS) Experience working with funded skills programmes
