Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in architectural design and project management with proficiency in various software tools. You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of buildings and other structures, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop and present architectural designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and preferences, negotiating design elements to achieve optimal outcomes. Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and models using tools like NavisWorks, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, ArchiCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite. Oversee the construction process to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise during construction. Manage project timelines and budgets effectively while coordinating with contractors and other stakeholders. Utilise project management skills to ensure projects are delivered efficiently from conception through completion. Incorporate joinery elements into designs where necessary, ensuring functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Requirements

A degree in Architecture or a related field is a plus. Proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, Grasshopper 3D, NavisWorks, and Rhinoceros 3D. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and contractors. Experience in construction processes and project management is highly desirable. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for presentations and design enhancements. A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail in both design aesthetics and functionality. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Previous experience in joinery or similar fields would be an advantage.
