Freelance Assessors / Internal Verifiers

HSC Futures Ltd is currently looking for Freelance Assessors / Internal Verifiers for the delivery and internal verification of SVQs and Modern Apprenticeships in Social Services & Healthcare @ SCQF Levels 6 - 10 and Core Skills in ICT & Numeracy up to SCQF Level 5 across Scotland.

You will be responsible for the assessing and supporting a caseload of learners enrolled on SVQs and Modern Apprenticeships within the Health and Social Care Sector. Delivery is a hybrid model, combing remote and face to face visits.

It is essential that you have previous experience in the sector, been practising assessing/internal verifying for a minimum period of 1 year and be a driver with access to a car.

Performance is measured against a set of Key Performance Indicators covering learner retention, progress, achievement, equality & diversity, timely reviews, and framework completions. Quality is monitored and measured through the organisation's comprehensive quality assurance and improvement procedures.

You should be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge / certificates / experience in the subject area, and you must hold an Assessor Award (direct and indirect methods), Internal Verifier Award. PTTLS or equivalent would also be advantageous.
