Freelance Content Creator and Social Media Manager

We're looking for a freelance Social Media and Content Creator to collaborate with us at The Natural Energy Company. In this role, you'll work with our team to strategise, create, and manage engaging content across our social media platforms and YouTube, helping to educate our audience and grow awareness of our brand.

We're seeking a creative, driven, and digitally savvy freelancer to help expand our online presence and bring our message to life through engaging content.

What you'll do

Develop and implement social media campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube .Produce high-quality photo, video, and written content for our digital channels. Plan and deliver content calendars aligned with our marketing goals. Track and report on content performance, optimising for growth and engagement. Collaborate closely with our internal team to turn insights into creative, educational content. Stay ahead of trends, monitor engagement, and respond to community feedback.

What we're looking for

Proven experience in social media management and content creation. Strong copywriting, photography, and video editing skills. A passion for sustainability and the renewable energy industry. Creative thinker with strong attention to detail. Understanding of how to blend creative storytelling with effective marketing strategies.

Skills and expertise

We're particularly looking for someone with experience operating cameras and delivering studio-level video productions for YouTube, both in-studio and on location. You should be proficient in DaVinci Resolve and CapCut, capable of producing colour-accurate, great-sounding video edits ready for distribution across platforms including Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Experience with design tools such as Canva is also required.
