Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, committed and passionate ISTD Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and progression whilst delivering a mix of ISTD tap and modern classes (ages 5+) as well as ideally being comfortable with teaching acro . This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality education and supporting the diverse needs of all students as well as being able to create show work.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles. Assess and evaluate student progress through regular testing, assignments, and observations. Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies. Uphold school policies and procedures while promoting a safe and respectful learning environment.

Qualifications

A valid DBS is essential. Previous experience in a teaching role is essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in lesson planning and assessment documentation. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
