Ouch Learning and Development focuses on delivering contemporary, cost-effective training programs in health, safety, well-being, and business development. With over 25 years of experience, our training sessions can be conducted at our head office in Wimborne or at a customer's premises. We provide training services across the UK, ensuring accessibility and convenience for clients nationwide.

We are looking to expand our network of freelance First Aid Trainers to provide First Aid Training for our clients in various locations. Our head office is based in Wimborne, Dorset, with a large section of our clients based in the Dorset area; however, we also deliver training further afield.

As a Freelance First Aid Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive first aid training sessions to diverse audiences, ensuring they receive the necessary certification. This role requires strong teaching and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of first aid protocols. Your expertise will empower participants to respond effectively in emergencies, making a significant impact on their safety and preparedness. Join us in fostering a culture of safety and readiness.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging first aid training sessions to diverse audiences. Assess participants' understanding and provide constructive feedback on their skills. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of first aid practices and certification requirements. Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during training sessions. Communicate effectively with participants to foster a supportive learning environment. Complete the relevant administration using our bespoke online system.
Applicants must have: -

A Current First Aid at Work Certificate Minimum of 2 years delivering First Aid Courses A Teacher/Assessor Qualification (Level 3 EAT, PTTL's, CTTL's, DTTLs or equivalent) Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance Driver's licence Member of FAIB (desirable)
We are looking for applicants who live in the Dorset area as a large portion of the courses will take place at our head office in Wimborne, as well as customer premises in the Dorset area.

Many of our first aid instructors also work in the ambulance or fire service and deliver first aid training as freelancers when not on shift. If you currently work in the ambulance or fire service and are also looking to deliver training, we'd love to hear from you.

Pay: From 175.00 per day
