Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Freelance Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) for our Beauty curriculum. We are seeking someone who hold verifier qualification such as V1 verifiers or equivalent and a minimum of level 3 beauty qualifications. We are seeking a freelance IQA who is familiar with NOCN, City and Guilds & VTCT awarding body requirements.

Job Purpose:

Ensuring a high quality of teaching, learning and assessment of learners by internally moderating the quality of our Beauty programs. Ensure all quality monitoring activity are completed to required standard in line with our quality framework, Scheme of Work and awarding body requirements to ensure the timely achievement of learner goals and qualifications in line with the Company and Regulating Bodies KPIs.

Specific Duties:

Internal Audits: To Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Quality Control: To Monitor and evaluate product quality throughout the production process to ensure consistency and adherence to specifications. Documentation: To Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality assurance activities, including audit findings and corrective actions. Training: To Provide training and support to staff on quality standards and best practices to promote a culture of quality excellence. Continuous Improvement: To Identify areas for improvement in quality processes and work with relevant stakeholders to implement changes. Regulatory Compliance: To Ensure that all teaching learning and assessment practices comply with relevant regulations and standards. Awarding Body Liaison- To be the lead for internal quality assurance for all beauty programs and be the quality nominee for all awarding bodies.

To keep up to date with the skills required to fulfil the role. To undertake any other duties commensurate with role and grade as may be reasonably requested. To be responsible for protecting staff and learners from all preventable harm as per Safeguarding procedures.
Essential:

Assessor and IQA qualifications ( V1 Verifier, A1 Assessor or equivilant) Qualified to a minimum of level 3 Beauty and/or the following subjects: Nail Technology/Services, Make up Artistry, Massage Therapy and Combined Beauty Therapy skills Knowledge of public sector programme provision and associated funding mechanisms and National Qualifications Framework
Desirable:

Experience of designing programmes i.e. high quality Scheme of Work Knowledge of public sector programme provision and associated funding mechanisms and National Qualifications Framework Self-management - manage workload effectively Relationship management - develop and maintain productive relationships with your Team, Management, Clients, Partners, Sub contractors and all key stakeholders. Customer focused - committed to understanding client aspirations, supporting their needs.
