Excellent Tutors is a growing training provider dedicated to helping learners achieve recognised qualifications through high-quality teaching and assessment. As we expand, we're looking for a professional and flexible Freelance Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to join our team and help ensure our courses meet awarding body standards.

Role Overview:

The IQA will support our assessors by maintaining compliance, sampling learner work, and ensuring assessment decisions are consistent and fair. This is a flexible freelance role, ideal for someone who values independence but wants to contribute to a passionate, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct internal quality assurance sampling and verification in line with awarding body requirements.

Provide constructive feedback and support to assessors.

Maintain accurate IQA records and contribute to continuous improvement.

Attend standardisation meetings and assist with preparation for EQA visits.

Requirements:

Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (or equivalent).

Occupational competence in the relevant qualification area(s).

Experience working with awarding organisations.

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Reliable internet connection (for remote work).
