We are seeking a Internal Quality Assurer [IQA]who will deliver strategic support and oversight of internal quality assurance and assessment across all RMF Training Academy programmes. The role involves high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment, overseeing EQA readiness, audit compliance, standardisation, curriculum alignment and accurate certification processes and assessment; regulatory compliance with awarding bodies, Ofsted, DFE, Combined Authorities and continuous improvement through coaching, OTLA activity, and robust verification processes.
Responsibilities
Support Internal Quality Assurance strategy across all RMF programmes
Develop and maintain the annual IQA sampling plan
Conduct regular sampling and verification of learner evidence to ensure accuracy, validity, reliability and sufficiency
Ensure assessment and IQA processes meet DFE, Ofsted, EIF and Combined Authority requirements
Lead the standardisation calendar and produce clear reports and action plans
Support the primary contact for Awarding Organisations and External Quality Assurers preparation and coordination for all EQA visits
Ensure accurate registration, achievement, certification and use of awarding body systems
Identify, report and manage allegations of malpractice or maladministration
Plan and deliver annual observations [graded and ungraded]
Complete learning walks across training sites to monitor delivery quality
Produce developmental action plans and track improvements
Identify training needs and deliver CPD sessions on assessment practice and compliance
Mentor trainers and assessors to improve delivery, assessment and documentation standards
Support development sessions, training and workshops
Support new staff with induction into quality processes and systems
Review curriculum and assessment materials for compliance, sequencing and relevance to industry standards
Support curriculum updates informed by labour market intelligence and awarding body changes
Ensure assessment activities are fair, accessible and aligned to learner needs
Maintain accurate IQA records across systems such as MIS/ILR platforms
Produce weekly and monthly quality reports
Analyse data to identify risk, performance issues and opportunities for improvement
Identify risks to quality, assessments or compliance and implement mitigation strategies
Ensure all assessment and IQA practices meet Safeguarding, Prevent, GDPR and Health & Safety requirements
Support Ofsted readiness and funding body inspections

Pay: 35,000.00-38,000.00 per year
