Job Description

We are a property company with a varied portfolio spanning both residential and commercial properties across the UK. We manage a wide range of legal matters in-house and are now looking for a freelance paralegal, although qualified solicitors are also welcome to apply, to provide ongoing support on a flexible basis.

The role will involve handling a broad mix of property-related matters including drafting and negotiating leases and other documents, advising on service charge issues, managing transactions such as sales, acquisitions or assignments, and dealing directly with local authorities, tenants, managing agents and other third parties. There may also be elements of litigation and dispute resolution work. You will be expected to work independently under instruction from one of our property managers, and be comfortable taking ownership of matters and communicating directly with relevant parties.

We are looking for someone who understands the law in England and has solid experience in property law, including both residential and commercial matters. A switched-on, responsive approach is essential, along with the ability to work efficiently and pragmatically without close supervision. The role will require a commitment of around half a day to one day per week, and while we're happy for the work to be done remotely, it would be beneficial if you're based in either London, Liverpool or Cardiff.

Pay will be based on the work completed per job.
