We are seeking a friendly and professional Freelance or Part time Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous restaurant experience and knowledge of food safety standards are highly valued.

Our operation runs from a custom-built production kitchen and office in South Gyle, where we also run our sister business, Edinburgh Food Delivery. Duties
Making and serving cocktails
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
Greet guests warmly and take accurate orders in a timely manner
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Manage cash registers, handle payments accurately, and provide correct change
Monitor guest intoxication levels and refuse service when appropriate to promote responsible drinking
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service experiences
Ideally the candidate will be a driver with a full UK driving licence and own vehicle
Experience
Experience making cocktails would be desired
Previous experience working as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role is preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards within the hospitality industry is essential
Strong understanding of serving techniques and beverage presentation skills
Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and cash handling tasks
Proven ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness

Experience within the food & drinks industry is preferred, however full training will be given.
