An excellent and rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experience and ambitious Quality Controller, to join our team at our Evesham Depot in Worcestershire.
Job Role
Inspect
incoming shipments
of fruit & vegetables for freshness, damage, grade, and compliance with specifications, completing QC reports
Monitor
warehouse inventory
, conducting routine checks to prevent spoilage and ensure proper storage categorisation
Oversee
outgoing orders
, verifying quality prior to dispatch
Manage quarantine procedures and hold non?conforming goods
Maintain detailed documentation for inspections, traceability, and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve quality issues, provide guidance, and support continuous improvement
Support internal/external audits and uphold
GMP

HACCP
, and food safety standards
Skills and experience
At least
1 year
experience in produce inspection, quality, or food/warehouse environments
Familiar with
fresh produce standards
, ideally with grading or labelling knowledge
Proficient in computer skills and record-keeping
Attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and strong communication skills
Ability to work in varied warehouse environments (cold, humidity)
