Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, hard-working and efficient Pot Wash to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our establishment. This position is particularly suited for individuals with experience in culinary or hospitality environments, as the role involves cleaning items and areas associated with food preparation.

This role is for Fridays 6am-2.15pm & Sundays 7am-3.15pm only. There will sometimes be availability to work Saturdays to cover other cleaners if needed and to cover any weekday shifts where cleaners are on leave. If you are unable to commit to both Friday and Sunday shifts then please do not apply as these are the 2 core shifts.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning and washing up of all bakery equipment used. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and utensils used in food preparation. Assist in the organisation and tidiness of storage areas, ensuring that all items are stored correctly. Follow health and safety regulations while carrying out any cleaning tasks. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly. Collaborate with bakery staff to ensure that cleaning schedules align with food preparation

Experience

Previous experience in a culinary, hospitality, or hotel setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with food preparation areas and the importance of maintaining hygiene standards is beneficial. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with other staff members.
